I would think there may be some real privacy issues trying to capture too much information from a CRA filing. maybe they are just finding out how many people file returns by e-file.

Pyo, I run Outpost Security Suite and it warns/asks for all unknown connections and logs all connections. I run Wireshark if I'm really interested in the actual packets/data etc. SB7

Pyo , using the hosts file is fine, but only if you're sure of the IP's/URL etc.. Nothing beats a good firewall .... and knowing how to configure/use it. JMHO SB7
